ShoreTel Comes Out Top on Nemertes' Customer Satisfaction Survey for the Seventh Year in a Row

When it comes to customer satisfaction, it's easy for vendors to make claims about the user experience.  The true measure is the ratings received from customers themselves in independent surveys. High ratings in customer satisfaction speak volumes about a product's value and performance in the real world of customer deployment. That's why ShoreTel is proud to have received the Nemertes PilotHouse Award for Best Overall IP telephony provider for seven years in a row.

In this year's Nemertes study, IT practitioners rated 37 IP telephony providers in three areas: technology, customer service, and value. Once again, ShoreTel earned the highest score in every category. And for the seventh year in a row, ShoreTel outranked competitors both large and small, including market leaders Cisco, Avaya and Microsoft.

The results are based 100% on the views and experiences of actual technology buyers. Nemertes determines the methodology, conducts the research and analyzes the findings, however, Nemertes has no influence over vendor performance. The opinions rest with real buyers. In addition, no vendors sponsor this research.

As a result of this research, organizations thinking about deploying a ShoreTel UC solution can have confidence that ShoreTel will meet their own business objectives easily and effectively, and provide the level of support necessary for this important business purchase.

"At ShoreTel, achieving high customer satisfaction is considered part of everyone's job, from our CEO to our resellers. We make it brilliantly simple for our customers to get exactly what they need. And we continually monitor satisfaction levels so we can see how we are doing, said Kevin Gavin, vice president of marketing at ShoreTel.

ShoreTel's consistent leadership in the IP telephony field speaks for itself. "Over the years, we have witnessed vendors' ratings increase and decrease, based on their performance that year. ShoreTel has had unprecedented stability in how it serves companies and how they perceive its technology, service, and value," wrote Robin Gareiss, executive vice president at Nemertes, in the PilotHouse Awards report.

While a seven-year winning streak is definitely one for the record books, ShoreTel's accomplishment is even more meaningful given that it has consistently come out ahead over the incumbents. ShoreTel continues to prove that when it comes to IP telephony and customer satisfaction you don't have to be big to be mighty.
